Caitlin Wahal

Captain Position: Order Management - Distribution

"I THON to provide long-term relief to the children and their families who are impacted by childhood cancer. I cannot imagine the emotional burdens inflicted upon these families and I want to support them in whatever way I can. I feel extremely grateful that I can help families provide the best treatments and opportunities to their children who are courageously battling this disease. All children should be given the chance to grow up and see the lives they always imagined."

Ashley Goon

"I THON because I believe in our mission, and I love being a part of a community that continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of our children and their families. I never want a family to have to worry about the financial burden or feel alone in their battle. I hope to one day dance in celebration, but until then, I will continue to support all the inspiring kids, families, and volunteers as we fight for a cure."

"I THON so no child must grow up in a hospital. A human life is precious and irreplaceable, especially the life of a young child. I THON so every child can not only survive but live their lives to the fullest."

Shannon Long

"I THON so that no family ever has to hear the words “your child has cancer”. No one deserves to go through the emotional distress that cancer causes, and everyone deserves to have a childhood, or to watch their child grow up. We have the resources and dedication, and as a committee we do everything we can, for the kids."

Alex Wiersbitzky

Sophia Vitolo

Captain Position: Special Event Sales

"As someone who loves to work with kids, I believe that one of our greatest gifts is children. The constant joy they have and the way they love unconditionally is genuinely remarkable. They deserve a childhood without worrying about treatments or hospital visits. Parents and families should never hear the phrase “Your child has cancer.” I THON for our families who are battling cancer so their focus can be on their child and not medical expenses. I also THON for a future where a kid just has to worry about being a kid, parents get to see their child grow up, and pediatric cancer is non-existent."

Courtney Proulx
